Equus

Equus is a stage play written by Peter Shaffer in 1973. The play is about named Alan Strang who has committed a horrible crime of blinding six horses at a local stable. His psychiatrist, Martin Dysart, tries to figure out the reason behind the young man's actions.

The original production was staged in 1973 at the Royal National Theatre in London. In 1977, the play was adapted into the movie. One of the most recent productions starred Harry Potter actor, Daniel Radcliffe, that first started at London's West End and continued and ended at Broadway.
